i release everything so i dont really care if its lost or landed

maybe so and i respect the fact you're strictly c&r...but any fisherman will tell you how disappointing or frustrating it can be to lose more than you land...but if you say you don't really care about your landing ratio, all the power to you.  :)

I have lost 8 steelies in a row.  This is getting to be the repeat of 1985 when I lost 13 in a row then went another 1o years without losing one.  Life can be a challenge for the steelheader.  Some guys talk like they never lose any ever!!!  Love the day and enjoy the company, that is my never ending motto.
