Fingerling Festival and Great Salmon Send-off
« on: May 06, 2011, 01:09:24 PM »

If you're not fishing tomorrow, there are two community events that you should check out.

Fingerling Festival at Noons Creek in Port Moody: http://www.noonscreek.org/fingerling-festival/

Great Salmon Send-off in Burnaby: http://www.vcn.bc.ca/stoney/seasonal.html (click on the event name in the calendar for details)

If you don't know what these events are about, I've written up summaries of last year's events:

http://www.fishingwithrod.com/blog/?p=169

http://www.fishingwithrod.com/blog/?p=172

We'll probably be at the Fingerling Festival tomorrow.

Thanks Jon, I didn't realize there is a new website already, was wondering why the other one was so outdated.
