GSP vs shields will be a snooze fest...GSP might finish him via tkp but will most likely decision him....shields has a slick ground game and thats his only chance, but hes never had to take someone like GSP down and i dont think he will have much success, so GSP will do what he did to koscheck only worse as shields is horrible standing.

hominick vs aldo for fight of the night, someone is getting KO'd.

cheering for my buddy Rory against diaz, should be a good fight

I don't think GSP Shields will be a snoozfest.  The emotion and electricity surrounding that fight alone will be like nothing we've seen before.
As for the fight itself, I expect a cerebral approach by both guys in a close hard fought fight.
IF and that's a big IF SHields can get it to the ground, or even if he gets taken down or on bottom, he is still extremely dangerous for sweeps and subs.
I think it will be a tremendous fight, two of the best fighters in the world.

Great card!! Glad to see local Jason MacDonald getting another chance to fight in the UFC.

GSP wins this one. He is probably the smartest fighter and most prepared fighter in all of MMA.

Wow, what a tremendous night of fights!

UFC 129 was billed as one of if not the biggest event in UFC history.  imo it lived up tp the hype.
We saw flying triangles, to spinning back fist KO's...
GSP-Shields was what I expected, a cerebral hard fought 5 round fight.  GSP could not see out of his left eye for the last half of the fight.  Shields pushed alot of the action in the final two rounds, but GSP had done too much early in the fight.  Sheilds acquitted himself very well in the fight, landing some very nice shots, howver he could not get the fight to the ground where he'd need it to go in order to stop GSP.

GSP-Nick Diaz is rumored to be the next fight for GSP.

JOse Aldo-Mark Hominick was simply a great fight.  Aldo won the fight undoubtedly, however Mark's gritty performance was inspiring, with his face literally a mess with a close left eye and a grape fruit sized hematoma on his forehead, he kept coming and had Aldo in some considerable trouble in the final round.  Awesome fight!

Knock out of the night went to Lyoto Machida.
Fight of the night went to Aldo-Hominick
Sub of the night went to Pablo Garza

Each bonus winner took home an extra 129,000$ !!!!

I agree awesome card. What a way for Couture to go out. That crane kick was awesome LOL

GSP was not happy with his performance, gave himself an F for it.

The Canadians all faired well in all their fights.
