Fraser Valley, May 21st 2011: 35 bass

When with the club members who showed up for Gary Cooper to film the WCBA bass fishing at the Marsh. Eight anglers (one fly fisherman, yours truely, in the mix) landed 35 bass while a low pressure system was setting in.

i was to busy teaching garys grandson how to fish for bass and talk to the cameras lol plus hes allowed his one time for the year lol

I just got back from Merrit, and I don't take pictures. I tried a number of flies (Hair Frog, Mouse, Foam Frog,various Leach patterns, Lizard, different Minnow patterns, and special UV patterns) for the first two hours and got squat. After trying all the supposed to be fail-safe patterns I resorted to my #1 predator pattern; the Dolly Whacker. Yes it whacks bass too!
