Chilliwack River, July 31st 2011
« on: July 31, 2011, 02:51:34 PM »

Two days before August and the F words have already popped out in two threads. It never fails. :)
:-[ :-[

Went and cleaned some garbage off a bar today and was happy to see someone had put a bag there, was a bit to pick up from the gravel plus $2 worth of bottles. ;D

Saw 4 chinooks on the beach a couple nice and clean, Rodney has the pictures. Most were fishing to make the fish bite. Went to two locations a bit above the Soccer Field run and more action was observed but a number were long lining in that location.

If you have good roe no need to long line to get them but good roe is the ticket.

Last comment using the F word this year. Rod will hold me too it with the delete button ready. ;D ;D ;D

I was out yesterday as well.  Took out the old man, got him into a couple of socks - he had a blast!

I FILLED the bag I had allocated for chinook transport (wasn't needed  :'( ) with garbage from the crossing - had to find a dumpster to pitch it in before we headed home.  The dumping/lack of etiquette just gets worse and worse...

I spent probably an hour trying to get a little girl into her first sockeye - she and dad had no experience and were out there with a trout rod, so I would pitch my gear and then let her drift it  :)

Also, what is ICBC coming to when they prevent two studs from hitting the Vedder?  Just nutty...
