Lots of spots along the Squamish system with nobody around - gotta know where to go. If you go lower Squam by the Mamquam confluence - YES! GONG guaranteed!

Yeah, it certainly was this morning. Not a lot of fish were being caught, but regardless it was a beautiful day to be out.

Ran out of time to post yesturday so I will summarize my trip. First, thanks to those who gave some generic info on where to fish. Even though the river was busy it was a different kind of should to shoulder fishing then I am used to, everyone was very friendly, helpfull and just pleasant to fish around. Anyway, got there around 6am, realized I had forgot my salmon fly box at home :P so had to use spoons. First two hours between my Grandfather and I, we hooked 10 fish but only landed two, kept a 4 pound doe for dinner and released the other 5 or so pound buck. From 8 to noon only hooked 3 more, landing one large buck around 6 pounds which was gently released. The trip was very enjoyable and we had a blast. If we get another chance I will definatly use the fly. Thanks again to everyone for the help :)
