Back from Whistler this afternoon, went to fishing from 4:30 to 7:30pm. Got a pink at around 5:30 but it's a foul hook, released. At around 5:50, fish on ! Followed by several strong run and I got my first Pink of the season. For the 3 hours, hooked 6 and landed 5 ( 2 were foul hook and released), good start for the season. :D

Deep fried in batter, seasoned and pan fried, or do what we did last night:

May I ask where you get your bright pink stickers from?  I have a few spoons that are just plain silver colour and want to slap on some bright reflective stickers to make them more noticable.

Do a search on lure prism tapes, I'm sure you'll get a bunch of places where you can get them.

Sounds like most had a good day yesterday. :)

The salmon cakes from the youtube looks good, I may add some garlic powder but less white onion, will try it when I got my first pink salmon later from Fraser.

Those pinks salmon cakes are delicious.  They are also great smoked.  Very delicate fish and need to be cleaned and iced immediately.
