Fraser Valley, December 19th & 20th 2011

i just got back from fishin a SPOT in the north side (targeting cutties), got nothing today :'( but yesterday i landed a big tomato, first coho on my centerpin :D, any ways fishin was slow otherwise, i guess its to early for cutts where i was.

cutthroat are a nomadic species thats constantly on the move. in order to have a decent outing you need to cover ALOT of areas and most guys only stop to cast if they see signs of fish rising. of course the cutty guys have spots where they know fish are usually all year round but they wont share unless you tag along. yoy think good salmon/steelhead spots are hard to come by HA try getting cutty spots out of someone !!


cutties are also easier to target with small lures or flies rather than with a cp setup. I have never targetted cutties but have caught several while coho fishing so there is no way your to early for them because i got mine all from the North side before this time of year
