Making Colorados
« on: January 16, 2012, 03:52:47 PM »

I am thinking about making some colorados. I am wondering if there is a chart out there that says what blade with what swivel size, split ring, hook ect. Thanks

Buy one and reverse engineer it. Barry's Baits has a good selection of parts.

I have been making my own for years and it doesnt really matter that much to match them up exactly, just eye it and use common sense.

# 4 blade with # 2 open eye hook... if that helps.
Basically, make sure there is enough hook set on the hook without the blade blocking it.
