I use Firefox as my browser and my home page is an add-on called speed dial. It allows me to have my favorite website links on one page.

I also use Firefox with Bing as my home page ... I use the bookmarks toolbar to access my most frequently visited sites.

Do a "Google" search on various search engines on a identical topics and find out for your self....

Bing = crap IMO
google is top dog for good reason...
yahoo seems good for canada searches.
firefox is good.

I like Bing for the pretty pictures it puts up daily  ;D. I don't have any problems with the search engine - I get more than enough info for my aging brain.

Are these "work-safe" pictures.... :D

Bing may be better now, however I experienced some issues doing searches at times as well as others compared to Google. I dropped it a while ago so they may have changed...

I use Google Chrome as my browser and theprovince.com for my homepage. I just like seeing what's happening around the province when I first go on the net.

The pictures I was talking about are on the Bing home page ... they are beautiful shots of varying subjects and links are offered if you want to check into them further. As for the search engine, there are "safe search" settings to choose from: strict, moderate and off. If you use "strict", no "adult" text, images or videos will come up in the results.

Jewelz,
like you I kinda just like to sit down with a cuppa, see what's happening localy, then progress out nationaly -internationaly then a quick check on the Beebs local page and see what's happening around my old stomping grounds.

I usualy use google for searches; I am quite habitual and change dosn't come easy, therefore I asked.

I use Google Chrome. I have it open 3 pages; GMail, Google Calendar, and Google Reader.
