Lake birds
« on: March 21, 2012, 01:12:02 AM »

Went to green timbers today to play with my 5wt, it got abit nippy but the fishing was fair. Didn't have to cast very far, I thought it was unusual that they were only 10 feet away from the shore. I saw 3 black birds size of loons that look like cormorants chasing the fish and eating them. Just wondering if anyone else have seen them as well. Not sure if its natural (although hatchery raised) for trouts to boil against the shallows.  ???
