Thanks, guys- I have some 175s and 275s left over from earlier days- the 275 is waaaaaaay too big, and I never liked the drag system of these particular Diawas. I still have a couple of Shimano GT 1000s from back then, too, and they're in great condition.
Steelhead King, thanks for the trip down memory lane with the Sea King- not for the reel, but because they're made by Kilwell- they also made the 1st mooching rod I ever had! I also caught my 1st steelhead with it on the Cowie (coupled with a Diawa Millionaire II). I also checked into the Lamson Guru. They looked great, and would be perfect, but unless I come into some money, they'll be on my dream list. I like the idea of the sealed drag, but until I can afford it, I guess I'll have to put up with the Shimanos. They balance pretty well with the long rods.
