Hi there, my buddy is having a wedding this summer and of course I'm left with the fun duty of setting up a small stag camping trip... But I'm not to familiar with any good camping spots. I've heard of cultus and a few other busy spots but does anyone know elsewhere were it may b equally as fun just less busy?

Mine was at the north end of Chehalis, but that was over a decade ago.  A little changed since the slide.

Perhaps camp just outside of Whistler?  Osoyoos or Penticton could be fun too.  Gives easy access to pubs or other 'nightlife'.

Are you looking for quality fishing or just more seclusion to get together with your buddies.  Any clue on the number of people as well?

Seclusion comes with a price of course. You can try Ruddocks Ranch, camping at their wall tents by the lake and have the entire lake to just your group (well, except the bear, moose and deer that are currently seen around the lake daily). Mine was around the same time last year. It was at chipmunk creek down the road a while. There's a big spot I had 12 guys, we paintballed, atv, camp fire and fished the vedder for springs. It was pretty awesome I must say.

There are nice places by lions bay right on the water. Since there is no official camp ground u might have to do some pre scouting for best location

Obviously fishing is not the focus, otherwise you would have mentioned the word at least once in your post.  Why not try exit 256 off the Coqihalla hwy and head south towards brookmere.  You will find 4 or 5 roads within the first 3 or 4 km that lead you to the old kettle valley railway, where you guys can cam beside the coldwater river.  It's only 2.5 hours from the city, and the amount of gravel road to drive is short.

Yea this is all great ideas Guys! I Deff need activities to plan, fishing Deff being one of them... and prob going to throw in paintball. Prob enough for the activities. Now just going to figure out where we can do all that. backside of the vedder i suppose? But do you think Red Springs will be a productive fishery from July 6-8th?

The cool weather we are having this June with lots of snow still to come down is going to mean very high water even into the second week of July. Any sort of rain will raise the water levels even more and dirty up the river making it unfishable. The odds are against you.....though not impossible....but highly unlikely that you'll get your prime conditions at the time you need.
