Mill Lake was also stocked last week. Rice, Green Timbers, Lafarge and Como are scheduled to be stocked again this week. Some surplus broods have also been scheduled to be released, locations TBA.

Last week's numbers are up at:

2012 catchable rainbow trout stockings are now completed in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. There are a few more releases of surplus broodstocks, including some that are going into Green Timbers Lake today.

GoFishBC's website doesn't appear to have surplus broods included in the database, I'll ask.

If you go to:

http://a100.gov.bc.ca/pub/fidq/stockedSpeciesSelect.do

You can do a search and get a historic archive of stockings, which include surplus broods in it.

Green Timbers received some surplus broods yesterday.

Hey Rodney,
Thanks for keeping us posted on trout stockings this year, it's sure appreciated.
I saw the live trout truck on the upper levels highway, heading towards the sea to sky highway last Friday nov 9th, and was wondering if you knew it's destination ?

I'm not sure actually, probably some secret stockings. ;) Those trucks are not exclusively used for catchable rainbow trout stockings in the Lower Mainland, they also assist the release of juvenile anadromous species at most federal hatcheries which don't have vehicles at this size to do the job.
