Island Steelheading

Thinking of heading to the Island. Any word on the rivers over there right now? The Gold or Stamp?

I wouldn't until we get a good bump of rain...
Stamp has been brutally low for almost a month now.

They keep predicting a bunch of rain for port, but it hasn't materialized.
If they get it... I would go  ;)

Has been what I would consider extremely low and slow! Certainly not what we have been accustom too!

I live in Campbell River. The water is low in the Gold and very few fish if any. No great numbers of fish in the Stamp.Paid a visit to the Quinsam Hatchery and was told that the hatchery over at Robertson Creek on the Stamp has only 5 fish for brood. Maybe I heard him wrong. We had a good downpour here last night but it didn't last long.

Methinks you heard correctly. It is downright GRIM of late. A little sky-water over the past two days, but insufficient to make any real difference...
And the sun is poking out today... SIGH...  :'(
