Think the show is from Feb 7-11th .
Something like that.
Will be open on BC's first Family Day ( holiday )

Definitely a lot of boats big medium & small on display.
Ya gotta have at least 5 hrs to do a proper walk about.
Easy to spend 10 hrs or more.

Also a lot of marine products & one that has caught my eye is the Lehr propane outboard.
Think the outboard is from 2.5 to 9.9 HP.

It will run on a screw in small 1 lb camping propane bottle or ya can use a 20 lb barbecue propane bottle. ( this type ya just attach the hose to another area of the outboard whereas the 1 lb bottle screws in at the back. )

So many positives for propane powered engines.
Info says : easy starting , no priming , no carb gum up ( big problem with E-10 gas outboards ) no winterization , plus this propane comes in a 4 stroke.
Price pt is the same as gas outboards.

Plus propane is very clean fuel.
Warehouse lift trucks ,some buses , taxis ,tow trucks use propane.
In fact Europe uses propane a lot more than here in N America.
Th USA ( Canada too ? ) has such an abundance of propane that they export it.

A lot to take in at the boat show & definitely this propane outboard seems like a super product for small boat fishermen / ladies.
Hopefully the dealers are set up where ya do not have to drive 90 minutes away should ya need maintenance or a part.

Propane outboard sounds interesting for me as I only use small 2.5 outboard. Also ordered  a mac coupler from the states to refill 1 pound tanks from a 20 lber. Works great for those appliances that need the small 1 lb tank.

We stopped by the show today, thinking that it would not be too busy in the afternoon. It was really busy... with a bigger list of sport fishing exhibitors (Gibbs/Nortac, Pure Fishing, Shimano, Nikka, Steveston Marin....). Check it out this weekend if you get a chance.

Daisy ( wife ) & I were there yesterday as well ( between 5-9pm )
The alum. boats were out selling the fibreglass ones 4-1 ratio so I was told.

Every time ya heard a loud bell ring , it meant that a boat was sold. Quite a few boats had sold signs on them.
Talk about the great selection of various brands of inflatable boats.  Even inflatable kayak.
Liked the alum. 18 fter with HT.
Monday is the last day.
There was a good crowd when we arrived but thinned out around 7 pm.

Sales guys are not pushy. Ha!
Only one guy said that I should buy a boat when the comment was made by me that the price was very good Boat Show Special $48 thousand retail dropped to $38,000.

Yep the last 4 boats were bought used.
The only new ones were cartop ,one a fibreglass & other alum.

The 1996 Arima SE ( Sea Explorer 15' 11" ) was bought used & we saved a lot by doing so.
Boat is built like a "tank" ( no wood ) & in great shape.
We do not store it outside in the elements.

I cannot afford that $ 38,000 boat but for those who have the "bucks" it was a good deal.
