Do yourself a favour and look at the depth chart for the lake, you can eliminate a lot of bad water doing that. Much of the lake is shallow and weed choked with little structure.
Hi Rhino, here is a bit of a summary of what you can expect.
North end = largemouth, no experience fishing for them in this lake but that is what I have been told. Weeds = largemouth.
Middle or along rocky structure = smallmouth, may have to look deeper to find them over 10" or so.
Middle deep = trout and kokanee. Middle of the summer they will most likely be deep and I would not expect much action.
Can probably find carp cruising in most places you look in that lake.
Please be aware the current at the outflow (if you choose to fish the oxbows) can be stronger than it looks and absolutely no motors of any kind are allowed on the lake. Expect wind during the day consistently, don't put yourself in a dangerous position. Dealing with whitecaps with only oars can be tricky.
