Using fire cure roe right now with not much luck    anyone else had anything with this? Might gonto a just plain borax roe  thoughts?

Large zip lock
split skeins
throw in bag couple teaspoons cure
blow bag up
shake roll shake 1 1/2 hours
take air out
put in fridge 5 hours
take skeins out n dry in paper towel
place back in bag with borax

or 3-2-1 my new favorite
take a jar put one cup borax  -  1/2 cup sugar    -   1/4 cup coarse salt  add one teaspoon fire cure
shake mix so it is mixed
split skeins n put on newspaper with bag under it
spread mix on top of skeins getting inside flaps
let sit up to 4 hours but check after 2
soon as the eggs get kinda hard remove mix
put in borax

just plain borax works awesome, i also use fire cure with good results landed 12-13 springs the other morning using both types of roe.

I'm just use plain borax works good. Another method i use  is hardening single eggs and putting a couple cheesecloth with a little piece of schrimp
