Pink salmon and the mouth of the vedder/fraser.
« on: August 14, 2013, 01:38:40 PM »

Does anyone have experience fly fishing or gear fishing for pinks along the shores during tide in?
I've spent some time out in this area at various spots and have seen fishing jumping here and there.. still slow but I have caught nothing. A couple guys fishing with small hoochies under a small blade and they were hammering fish all morning. So is it just the luck or am i just missing the early waves of pinks?

And if you have fished it what would a good type of fishing for that area for pinks?
i don't need a detailed how to just an idea of what to explore.
Thx

Those little spinners  slay pinks, i used to use them lots learnt it from a guy down in the states when i was 10.  but recently switched to flies or i would still be using those when all else fails.
