Re-stocking of Okanagan Socks

Anyone know about the history of OK sockeye? I was just wondering what the historic levels were before the damming of the relevant rivers took place. Glad to see the re-intro project happening by the local native bands. I was also wondering whether salmon made it into the Similkameen R.?
