Langley area Fraser has been consistent since late last week when the water cleared up. Only opportunity is to fish a couple hrs late day to dark but everyday between two of us, we are getting results. Most days we are in the 2-3 hook ups with coho but not bad considering just standing out on a beach throwing into big water. Surface is active but mostly high percentage of chum would be the expected culprits.
Roe is only getting jacks as I alternate with bait and lures for the short time in evening. Monday was best day for fun with 5 jacks and one 6-7 lb. Tonight my friend landed a good one in the 8-9 lb range.
The fog has broke the last two days so been just beautiful evenings in peace tossing a line while watching the sun go down over the Golden Ears bridge.
However, it has been over a week since any of us has hooked a hatchery fish. Nonetheless, it's great to have the action. Given this is just one small area and fished a couple hrs a day, it's a testament to how many fish are still traversing thru the Fraser.
