Instead of going after the steelhead that seem to be non existent in the Vedder this year, I decided to do a couple hours a few days ago, trying to target bulls in places I knew they have been years past. Ended up getting 7 of them, along with a bow, and managed to lose a steelhead as well.

Silver/Brass 2/5 in the clear water up top.... Orange/Brass 2/5 in the more coloured water below the slides. Can't believe how many bulls there are this year, have been into 10 of them in 4 trips throughout the river.

Looking for steelhead today at one of the local rivers, no steel but a bit of fun bi-catch.  First fish on the new centerpin and rod.  Three cutty's and one rainbow.....great day.

Shouldn't we have a 2014 thread by now?
