Replacing Bearings In Pacific Steelheader (Old Islander)

Hi all! - first post :)

Just wondering if there is any special way to take out the bearings or if it is pretty straight forward.

gently and evenly, find something that fits onto the center race and gently push them out

Use a wooden dowel. Whats wrong with the bearings?

Theres a slight knock in them, spins louder than it should.....guess you could say it's not quite as smooth as it could be.

Just take to Mike. It cost me around 25$ for bearings (Abec 7) ,replacement  and  servicing last year.

I'm on the Island, so would have had to ship it.  The bearings are actually super easy to replace. 

I ordered some from Islander last week, they showed up today and I had them installed in less than two minutes. 

Not sure what they sent me as I didn't ask, but will see if they are better tomorrow........
