A) should Trevor Linden hire a new Vancouver Canucks head coach ?
( coach to blame or players or both for poor season )

B) what team do you think will be the 2013/14 Stanley Cup Champions? ( one guess )

( side note yes Chris it was very good sportsmanship what the Canucks did in Edmonton. When a respected player retires he will get all the congrads & all the best from his peers.
Bet a lot of retiring players who play "dirty" would not have been given such an honour.)

Oh ya ; believe "Torts" John T. deserves another "kick at the can".
1st year was a learning & adjustment to a new team & location.

Year two should be a vast improvement.
If it does not...the coach will be fired before the GM or Pres. this time around.
No more extra lives or chances.
But we should know very soon if he stays to gets the boot.

I think Torts should be given another opportunity. Personally I think he's going to be fired.

As to the Stanley Cup champions, I have to go with Canada's team Montreal Canadiens.

Think Linden will talk to the players & get their take on Torts.
Mind you Torts has gone on record he wants a major retooling & major new blood & more youth.

So knowing that maybe the older players will be afraid the gate will be open to the pasture.
Trades or out right release.
After all Torts has 4 years & think it's like 2 mil per yr.
If he 's fired he'd get some big payout bucks.
Mind you he got Luongo angry thus renewed the want of a trade & it happened.

FA but agree with you, I'd not be surprised if he's fired.
It was like the Canucks could not get out of that 2 month downer, but they did show some grit at the end.
But the team looked kinds lost on the ice.
Personally think Torts like to have mental control on his players & a lot of players resist that.
Kinda like when he says "jump" & they say "how high?"

Players make more $ than the coach most times & with the players union,players do not like to be pushed by their coach.
