Socks aren't open for retention, and wait until the 2nd week of August for decent numbers.

Should open between July 15 and August 1 and stay open until Labour Day.

Next question, why is the Fraser River region 2 only open from July 16 to July 27 for Chinook? Is this normal, then they will soon announce more open Chinook (maybe Sockeye) fishing after July 27th??? Just seems odd to open it for an 11 day window??
