Bear sighting
« on: July 09, 2014, 03:23:24 PM »

On the Upper River above Allison between Old Cedars came across a bear crossing from the river side to the bush. He looked very lanky and I assume he's eating garbage or leftovers from some of the campers that frequent there. Just a heads up for anyone fishing that area this week/weekend. Be careful Early Morning/twilight.

I was also in the upper river today, looking for garbage the Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Society could direct people to at our next river cleanup on July 19th.  Perhaps this bear was lanky as this is the cleanest I have seen this area, garbage wise, ever :D

Picked up 20+ cans and bottles from the area last Saturday...maybe that's why it is so clean? ;D
