DIY slinky weights

I can never find the right width paracord to fit a right width ball! Any suggestions where too find this stuff? Is shotgun buckshot heavy enough?

I think buckshot is fine if you are making smaller size weights.
I am making 9-12 grams weights for roe bags and spin-glos on the spin reel. Are you making large 20,25,and 30 gram weights for the float fishing?
I see different sizes of the knitted green paracord around shops. You might get some on sale at one of the spring sales. It is not all that popular lately.

I used to fish slinkies a lot but got away from them...I have most of a 10lb box of shot and the right cord...if you want to buy it, email me.

thanks,
