« on: December 27, 2014, 08:41:22 AM »

Fished boxing day. Dolly on first cast. Then broke a good fish off 30 mins later. Covered lots more water with no luck. Any one else have reports of n the one that got away?

Lost a big fish Christmas eve, it bit, ran, jumped and threw the hook before I had any control whatsoever. Didn't touch a fish on boxing day the only ones I saw were on the board at the clubhouse.

Put 4 hours in the upper today but no luck. Floated roe and tried a couple spoons. A fair number of anglers out but not much action. Was a nice day though and noticed the mountain tops dusted with snow now. Should start getting colder soon.

I fished boxing day, released an 8 lb or so wild on the third cast.

Short floated roe bag was the bait of choice.

Saw one other wild released also.

There were only a few guys in the area I was fishing; was expecting more..
