Stoke's Pit/Latimer Lake
« on: May 26, 2015, 10:11:53 AM »

Hi All,
Does anyone know if there is anything left in this Pond?
I remember going for walks around the lake and toss a line in when I was a kid with my Dad and would love to take my son there.
Thanks
JOE

Call Dianne Watts to find out, she is the one that let greedy developers destroy it.

there is no trout left in there anymore and also no plans to ever stock it with trout again in the future however there is still a few species of coarse fish in the lake. I keep meaning to head down there with my boys, some bait and dough and seeing what they can catch

I went there yesterday evening to see if there was any fish around. Just walked around the whole lake, saw a few 3" sunfish in the shallows...that's about it. Nothing jumping or surfacing at all. It's super shallow in there right now, if there is any bass around they've gotta be few and far between. It's not even worth checking out in my opinion.
