Does anybody recall when Riverside used to be Jaymer's? The owner was Jay (forget his last name); the venerable Ted Peck worked there too.

I bought my very first level outfit from Jaymer's in the very early 1990's

His name was Jay Mailey. I worked for Jay until he sold the business to Garry and the Ginther family. I continued working at Riverside for a number of years until I started in an engineering position. Both Jay and Garry (and the Ginther's while they were part of the business) were great to work for. Garry came into that business with a lot of passion for the sport and the community. I haven't been in touch with Garry lately, so I'm not sure of his reason's of shutting down, but I do know that closing the shop was not a decision that was made lightly.
