Damien, I'm all ears if someone wants a still water fisher for their lake.

Craigslist free section is also great for getting rid of stuff if the above dont go through. Just give it a bit of time...  I've given lots of stuff to people many of which live quite close to me...  It's a good feeling knowing it didn't go to the dump but helped someone out.

If I wanted to give these boats away, they'd be artificial reefs by now.  I have to cover my costs of towing them from the gulf islands to the lower mainland.  Craigslist is fine and dandy, but putting something with residual value in the free section is like sounding the alarm for every nutjob out there.  I've done that before, out of the kindness of my heart, and my experiences were more than a little concerning, so never again.
