The slough so needs to be flushed out of all the milfoil above the confluence of Norrish.

Yeah true. But tbh, I think the horrible run this year is the main short term problem, not the habitat. Compared to any other year, this is the worst year I've had by far. I got less coho, chum and cutties combined all season so far than I would typically get in ONE good day in other years. Other guys I talked to have had a similar experience so far, both in Norrish and in the slough. And fishing pressure is getting heavier, so you would think more fish would be coming out. But instead the opposite is happening.

Kind of ridiculous. I'm hoping this doesn't mean we had a failed run this year.

Didn't find the slough too bad this year
Bit of a later push of coho but still productive enough
It's all about timing and time of day
Chum weren't as numerous this year for sure
And the coho were on the smaller side
