Bulkley Late February
« on: February 11, 2016, 04:15:08 PM »

So the girlfriend says if I help drive to Smithers in two weeks I can spend the whole weekend fishing.  8) Does anyone think I'll be able to find some open runs to swing a fly through? I am basically looking for a spot she can drop me off at for six hours where I might find some chrome.

Decent opportunity? Or is it too much to ask...

Thanks!

Don't know about open water but if there is it's highly unlikely you will find "chrome"; what you will find, mainly, are staging summer run steelhead, a few months from spawning.

Most of the rivers are closed then.

Read the general regulations for region 6
