Adding flash to spinner blades
« on: December 06, 2016, 12:51:50 PM »

Hello everyone, I have a couple of questions:

1. Since the lower Fraser is always dirty, I think the spinner blades I use should be as flashy as possible all year. Is that correct?

2. I have some second-hand spinner blades that are not nickel-plated.  Is there anything I can glue to the surface to make them really flashy?

Thanks.

Prism tapes, my favourite is green. Most tackle stores will sell them. They come in square sheets, but you can also find pre-cut prism tapes which will fit perfectly to the size of your blade. The Fraser will get clearer and clearer as this weather gets colder, until April, so visibility is not a problem in the next few months.
