Have you fished it yet? I give you credit man sometimes I'm too lazy to put them together with bought components let alone hammer out a spoon.
I haven't fished it yet, mainly because I rarely get the chance to fish and I'm afraid of losing them. I made it just because I was bored and wanted to see whether or not I could make something like that

Send me a couple and I'll happy to test it out for you. :)

I would but they take me around 2-3 hours to make one, and I don't really have that kind of time.

Spoon looks neat.  Nicely done.

The spinner though...no clevis for the blade?

I was wondering the same thing. How much does the lack of a clevis affect the spinning?

By the way here are some of my homemade lures:

Update on my spoon...
Earlier this week, I went to the vedder for an afternoon, my first trip of this season. Nobody was catching anything in the part of the run that we were fishing so I decided to slowly move towards the tailout while casting the spoon. Around 30m down from where I was fishing, I caught this guy...

IMHO, more satisfying than catching fish on a self-tied fly.

Edit: it seems that photobucket is still uncooperative so the photo of the fish can be found on my Instagram: @epikwinner
