Simms Wader Reconditioning
« on: October 30, 2018, 09:45:59 AM »

Have heard mention of people sending away their waders for reconditioning back to the Bozeman factory, just wondering what this process involves as far as correspondence with Simms and price vs services rendered. I usually scrub down my waders inside and out and treat them with Nikwax a couple times a season but have noticed my gravel guards are getting fairly chewed up. Will they replace these/can they replace these?

Appreciate anyone’s thoughts on this issue from first hand experience. Happy fishing 8)

I did it with mine and was happy with the result. At $100 cdn I thought it was a bargain. Mine needed repair as the heat tape was coming off on the  inside.

One thing to note is the neoprene feet on the non-goretex waders can't be replaced according to Simms website.
