Without the hatchery this river would be dead . The summer run steelhead this regulation is trying to protect wouldn’t exist if they stopped brood stocking . Remove the ban on bait , those summer steelhead honestly have a greater chance of being snagged and killed by some beak than harmed by a skilled angler with bait

There was a summer run that was caught on bait from the Cable Pool couple of weeks ago. The angler left after releasing the fish after he was called out by other anglers for using bait.
