Tidal Fraser Coho Opening 2019

Just wondering if anybody had any luck last year targeting Fraser Coho when it was finally opened?  I only tried 1 time last year, and among about more than a dozen anglers a few jacks were caught.

When did the 42 day rolling closure begin on the Fraser?  Just wondering when I can head out.

Opens in the non-tidal, Mission to Hope on Nov 3rd

Fraser River from the downstream side of the CPR Bridge at Mission upstream to the Highway 1 bridge to Hope      

All    Oct 18 to Nov 2    No fishing for salmon. FN1078


Coho    Nov 3 to Dec 31    2 hatchery marked per day. FN1078

How the heck to you distinguish between bull trout or dolly?  I caught one of those today and released it.  Coho didn't show themselves to me.

Really slow today on the bar. Saw only 1 jack.  Slowest opening day I have seen in years.  Mind you it is Nov 2.  Maybe tomorrow.

5 rods 6hrs 0 fish. Fished south side of river in around Langley.  Never seen it so slow, even in the first week of Nov.  Obviously at the wrong bar.
