--Make it mandatory for DFO to publish the science and recommendations...we can then take care of the Politicians for their management decisions.  We never get all of the information so we are always at a disadvantage when trying to make informed determinations of what management options were given vs what was or is going to be implemented. Given all of the facts, maybe we would even agree with some of the decisions.

I thought the Cohen restructuring recommendations made sense. This including removing promotion of Salmon Farming as an industry and product. Most of these recommendations are now about 10 years old so may need to be revisited given what;s changed (ie the collapse of many Fraser River and other Sockeye and Chinook stocks).
