Hathaway lake
« on: July 29, 2020, 04:44:05 PM »

Was thinking of going mid next week. Wound be taking 16 ft with 50 hp. My concern is will I be able to find a camping spot for a tent.   Haven’t been camping since reserving came into effect.

Could try giving moose haven resort a call for a tent spot. They have a boat launch I think.

Moose Haven has a better launch than Hathaway lake resort. Hathaway resorts launch is absolutely terrible. Its incredibly steep and drops off right at the water. 4x4 with good tires is a MUST. I know from experience

If you call Hathaway Lake Resort owners I am they could find you a spot after the long weekend. I am quite sure Moosehaven is booked solid All summer but they as well may be able to find a tent spot.
Don’t even think of using the launch at Hathaway Resort. Moosehaven May charge you a few dollars to launch there. Nice to see  Hathaway is now stocked with Kokanee for the last few years. Some may start  turning color in the next couple of weeks.
