I fished lodestone lake on my scouting trip for my upcoming first deer hunt. Tons of tiny ~ 4-6 inch fish surfacing and jumping. Saw one splash that I estimate was closer to 10-12 inches. Tried some shrimp, nada, tried chironomid, nada, dragonfly nymph, nada. freshly caught worm from under a rock, nada (couldnt believe it) I was float fishing. Would I recommend fishing there probably not  .
