My new fishing partner

I was out earlier this week for a meet up with a new fishing buddy. They are a quiet and careful fisher and so took many more fish than me but I caught one fish that on it's own outweighed their total catch.

Haha, awesome footage Ralph. Those herons are top rods for sure.

The epitome of stealth.  Note to all newbies!  This is how to approach a run.  No need to go barrelling up to the water's edge.  Especially when steelheading!

Down here in the north arm we’ve always called them Fraser River turkeys. Idk why 🤷🏻‍♂️😂.
