Winter steelhead guides VI
« on: December 02, 2024, 12:33:05 PM »

Hey all, I'm looking for recommendations on a guide for a couple days on the island. I'm looking for recommendations on river and guide. If those come with stories of your past experiences that would be phenomenal! I'm not necessarily looking for a lodge as im perfectly ok with motels. I feel motels would potentially give me the opportunity to do different rivers with different guides each day. ( as preferably from drift boat)

You could try the Stamp river for winter steelhead and contact Murphy Sportsfishing who use jet boats on the river. The Cowichan river for Winter steelhead or Brown trout out of a drifboat with the Gunns of Riverquest Charters is ton of fun as well. For more remote trips I would contact Daniel of Coastal Trail Fishing company based out of Comox Vancouver Island.
