Sage Rods?
« on: January 20, 2025, 09:11:35 AM »

If anyone has any sage 3113M/L or 3106l bait casting rod or blank they can part way with send me a message and I would love to acquire it. What is the reasoning on sage discontinuing there gear blanks? In my opinion sage always produced great rods for fishing our our local BC systems. Maybe a chance of a return in the future ?

Sage gear rod blanks have been discontinued for a number of years now. Brian Babcock was purchasing complete production runs of blanks until management at Farbanks decided it was too much of a hassle to do a run of blanks. There hasn't been a production run for something like 5-6 years now. He was just building rods based on the stock he previously had purchased.
Hopefully you realize that there is zero warranty on Sage gear rods and Sage is not producing any new sections if you have a bad experience ad break a rod. Can't buy one or get warranty. Basically an expensive tomato stake for the garden
