Vedder Canal

Has anyone been to the Vedder Canal. Thinking of going there tomorrow. Any of the "islands" crossable yet???

yesterday the water was up. people were still wading into the water though, so it seems it is not that deep, but it's deep enough that you can't see the bottom.

I was there on sat. the canal is wadeable but there isn't any real pockets of water for them to hold they have dug 5 ponds just up river from the gravel pit as previously mentioned in a different thread.

 as for fish nothing I did find three fine golf balls though ;D

Was there today and not a sniff of a fishg around. I'll give it 2 weeks.
