Keith Wilson Area
« on: October 05, 2004, 04:34:44 PM »

As I am pretty new to the Vedder,,,,,
Is the Keith Wilson area know to be a "gong Show" or "Beak Haven"?    I was recently shown a nice run with a holding pool,, that has been fishing very well over the last week.  I arrive at about 5:45 am,, fishings great!!,, until  about 7:30,, when the idiots see me landing  fish,,and then all hell breaks loose.   I usually fish just above Tamahi,, and its usually not bad.  Look forward to hearing you guys.

Peach is WAY worse than KWB right now. Went for a look yesterday to Peach and counted at least 65 guys in the upper and lower runs. It's the biggest gong show/snagfest in town. Ranger, Boulder, upper Wilson, and Train bridge was crowded too. Stopped at KWB and counted 16 guys engaged in a snagfest. There is a lot of river out there and you don't need to be in any of those places to find fish. Good hunting to all.
