Like i've said before, if there's so much of a mention of your weight touching the bottom of the river someone is going to rip you for it. Float fishing is the way to go in the vedder though no doubt!

im not fishing the vedder im fishing the stamp and big qualicum on the island. I know the stamps good useing spoons and spinners for hos but i dont know about the big qualicum.
