Hey Scalper66

Just about every tackleshop will probably be able to arrange for a lesson for you. And I know for a fact that Michael and youngs fly shop and Ruddicks Fly shop have fly casting classes as well as private lessons. Just give them a call and they can set something up for you.

Michael and Youngs ----604-588-2833 ------- www.myflyshop.com
Ruddick Fly Shop --------604-985-5650 ------- www.rudfly.com

There are some pretty talented casters on this forum...maybe you could entice one to teach you and thus save a bit over the shop prices...

I can teach you how to (lessons are free  ;D) destroy your fly by smashing it against the back or side of an aluminum boat or how to, in one easy lesson, get your fly to catch your anchor rope.

Call Randy at Hatch Match'r in Maple Ridge 604-460-7100. I am also booked to do a set for Mission Parks & Rec, Sat. May 7th. The thing you want to remember is that bad lessons teach bad casting. Do it right the first time and save yourself years of problems. Oh yes do compare prices!

http://www.fedflyfishers.org/certified.php

simply go to the above link and use the search option to find a certified instructor near you. I know there are several here in the lower mainland. The certification process for these instructors ensures these guys are excellent casters and teachers as well.  :)
