Cap May 31st
« on: May 31, 2005, 01:29:59 PM »

This morning's rain has had little effect on the water level of the Cap. Still on the low side. My buddy and I fished some sweet pocket waters this morning. All we got for our efforts was a good soaking. Talked to an old timer of the Cap for a while. I consider him to be one of the top rods and he is still looking for his first coho of the year.  :( The only bright spot was a couple of bears foraging for their breakfast this morning. Tomorrow's another day.

I was looking back at a few dates in my fishing journal and normally I've been getting my limit regularly starting in late April. Usually I've had my fun on the Cap by now and ready to move on to the Chehalis.
