jettabambino is there more than one Sasamat Lake in Lower Mainland or you "cleaned up" entire lake?
early in the day.
I was there from about 4pm to 7pm, have seen few very small fish jump, and didn't get a sniff (except I will maybe get a sniff from the cold later on
). There were few more people, but nobody during the time I was there got anything. Not a single bite.
The rain was pretty persistant but it slowed down around 6:30pm. Lake was very calm, no wind almost at all, and very beautifull mist hovering right above water. I have tried everything I had with me including meat from my sandwich
but I think I liked it more than fish, what a waste. Yah, that is OK, it is a part of fishing to get skunked, but it is nice to be out there, while most people probably spend these rainy days fighting for a parking spot in malls.
Hope anybody who heads out that way will have better fishing day (at least warmer).
